Jean-Baptiste Bellefleur - Two nights ago, I dreamed about the caribou, I saw that this one wanted to feed us. In my dream, I saw the place where the caribou lost its velvet, and the path beside it. I should have seen the caribou by the water yesterday...
In my dream, there was a caribou trail. My grandfather was sitting at the end of the trail. And my grandmother was sitting on the plain. I knew I would kill where my grandmother sat...
I killed it here in the lake, since the caribou had time to come here. We were a little late, and the caribou came to meet us, to offer itself to us.
