Basile Bellefleur - In the fall, when the ground freezes and the snow hasn't yet fallen, the lakes begin to crack. They're very noisy, people say the lakes are asking for their blankets. It's a sign that a snowfall is coming. Water coming out of the ground also represents bad weather and snow ahead.
