In Montreal

Tony St-Onge - That's it, we're leaving. We were really excited... Most of us had never been on a plane... We didn't know what would happen... We weren't sure they'd understand our French.
Alie Lavoie Gray - Sylvie was nervous. So were we. She had worked so hard to make this project a success. I felt strange. You know, when you're about to meet a complete stranger.
Marie-Christine Lavoie - We're not making the exchange right away. Right now, we're just going to Montréal, we're... So the parents are here to take you to the school in Montréal, OK?
Céline Bellefleur - It's good for us to introduce our culture. It's very important so the children don't stay... like, Indians wear feathers, or Indians block bridges.
Tony St-Onge - When we got to know the kids a bit better, we were paired up. And then, we went home with the friend we'd chosen. We were kind of scared because it was the first time we had been separated. We wondered what our friend's house would be like. The houses here are high! Ouch, my neck...! We walked around in a "little forest"... There was a small, man-made lake... There were fish, too, but... They weren't trout.
Kids - The cow is disgusting! It stinks!!
Tony St-Onge - We went on the train that goes under the ground, it goes fast... We visited lots of things. And we walked... Walked... Walked... We always had to stay together. There were a lot of us... What we really wanted to see... was la RONDE.
Sylvie Colluci - If you ever get lost or something happens to you, go over there. That's security. Just as we get inside the gate, you'll see it, it's called security.
Kids - We're going home!
