Evelyne St-Onge - I remember when you were little and you came into the bush with me. You did everything I did. You imitated me.
Laura Pinette - I even did the laundry with you, the same way you did.
Evelyne St-Onge - When I made coffee, you made hot chocolate. And it was the same for bread. I enjoyed that. That's when I realized that I needed to pass on the information I received from your great-grandmother, to my grandchildren.
Laura Pinette - Now, with all your experience, I'm glad you're here. It's really important.
Evelyne St-Onge - I remember when your mother was pregnant. A child came to fetch me saying that my mother wanted to see me. I was surprised. I went to see her and she said she wanted to talk to me.
Your great-grandmother wasn't in the habit of doing that. We went into the room. "I'm going to tell you something," she said to me. "You mustn't be shocked, you must accept it". "Life is like that." "You're going to have a grandchild."
Your arrival was announced and it filled me with happiness. I think she was afraid of my reaction. Your mother was very young. Now you're the one who's pregnant and I want to be there to accompany you.
Music - Kathia Rock
